Kum-Ji spends her time as a member of the Yo-i fan club, but secretly loves Jin from their rival DDL. E-Soh, the jerk from Yo-i, declares his love for Kum-Ji, but his word isn’t quite what one would call trustworthy. Jin from DDL, on the other hand, gets injured in a car accident causing all his adoring fans (especially Kum-Ji) to grieve. I’m not accustomed to reading graphic novels, but once I figured out what was going on, I found it cute and highly amusing.

Kum-Ji’s situation gets even more complicated when her best friend discovers that she is a two-timing fan. Also, she does a lot of name calling, and temper tantrum throwing, most of which is directed at E-Soh, who hates to love her. This one wasn’t quite as good as it’s predecessor.

Review
A rather pointless retelling of “Beauty and the Beast”, “Beauty” was lacking a villain, a decent plot, and a likeable protagonist. It was written in first person, but Beauty had so few feelings and thoughts to add to the story, that writing it in third person would barely have made a difference, except maybe to slightly improve it. Not really worth your time.

Book three of the Lunar chronicles, in which the author thought to herself "Gee, there is a dude in this story who is single, I'd better fix that." Enter Cress, an unsocialized "blonde" blonde (I have blonde hair, so this isn't meant to offend, it's just a stereotype), already madly in love with fugitive "Captain" Thorne, and the rubbish stories he made up to make it seem like he was a hero. Naturally, Cinder and her growing band of misfits go to pick up Cress, but something goes wrong for once and they become separated, all the while the clock ticks, counting down the days to Kai's wedding to the evil Lunar Queen Levana. It's a lot more complicated than that, but if you want more details, go read the books.
The series so far has been a decent one, though not great. Then again, I've been told that I find something wrong with everything I read. Oh, Well.
